Grand Café De Lichttoren is located in one of Eindhoven's most iconic and famous buildings: De Lichttoren. The name refers to Philips' former light bulb factory from 1921. On the top floor, the life expectancy of light bulbs was tested. In the old days, when Eindhoven had mostly low-rise buildings, the burning lamps could be seen far in the surroundings. That's how the building got its name "De Lichttoren."
Today, it's a nice place to enjoy all day long. From morning coffee and pastries, to evening drinks, and everything in between. From locals to tourists, from businesses to parents with young children, from shoppers to tourists. Everyone is welcome at De Lichttoren.
A cozy restaurant, fine coffee corner, a cozy drinks area around the bar, a reading table, a sunny city terrace, our own patisserie, a children's corner, a separate meeting room; the grand café is grand and versatile. We are located in the heart of Eindhoven and surrounded by stores, hotels, parking, the train station and the stadium. Come by and enjoy!
