Grand Café De Lichttoren is sinds juni ’23 gevestigd in één van de meest iconische panden van Eindhoven: De Lichttoren in hartje centrum. De begane grond van deze voormalige gloeilampenfabriek van Philips behoort met ruim 300 zitplaatsen, een vergaderzaal, een patisserie, een grote bar en een gigantisch stadsterras tot één van de grootste horecalocaties van Eindhoven. Functieprofiel
Als Teamleider ben jij het visitekaartje van Grand Café De Lichttoren en leid je het bedienend personeel. Jij zorgt ervoor dat onze gasten zich welkom voelen en kunnen genieten van uitstekende service. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen van het team, het coördineren van de bediening en het waarborgen van een hoge kwaliteit van service. Daarnaast draag je bij aan een gezellige en professionele sfeer in het grand café.

Duties and responsibilities:-.

- Direct and motivate the serving staff.
- Leading the service.
- Coordinating daily operations and distributing tasks.
- Welcoming and welcoming guests with a smile.
- Taking orders and advising guests on our menu.
- Serving food and drinks in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Checking out with guests and ensuring proper payment.
- Maintaining a neat and clean work area.
- Working with colleagues to ensure smooth service.
- Handling complaints and special requests from guests.
- Contributing to the preparation and clean-up of events, group arrangements and special occasions.
- Keeping group arrangements on track and being the first point of contact for the organizer.
- Being able to open and close the business independently.
- Ensuring training and development of the team.

Profile:
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial role.
- Excellent communication skills and a hospitable attitude.
- Representative, friendly and stress-resistant.
- Team player who can also work well independently.
- Flexibly deployable, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
